At the end of the period the Tokugawa thanks to their great military skill managed to win the wars and rule over japan until the end of the Boshin War in the 1870s the Tokugawa were the last Shoguns of Japan and where a long respected clan but in the begining the Tokugawa Clan where not a very large or respect clan out of the big clans as they where often cased out in debates but inside their home a massive army was raised which conquered Oda Nobunaga's Army and began the Edo Period.
